5 days of wake ends today. There's a church service before we left for cck 's cemetery. When we pay our last respect, they put the holy bible and a cross in her hand. Also, the handbag that she used to carry when she goes out, the shoe she always wear to events and dinner.
At cck cemetery, we sang and prayed in front of her grave, took a piece of soil and threw onto her coffin. As my dad is the eldest son in the family, he held grandma's photo and stnad in front of us. It really sadden everybody, especially when 2nd aunt began crying out loud and calling 'mother'. I cried and dare not look up. Thru out the whole ceremony, i just stare on the floor, i can't stand seeing people crying.
I thank all people for their condolences and people who have went to the wake. Like yan and her bf, sam, hui ling. Like what my brother said, ah ma lived till age of 91, with 16 great grandchildrens, its something to be happy about. The pastor told us that, the last time when she visited grandma before she pass away, she had a holy meal with her, and before she left, she asked grandma does she need her to pray for her health or anything? And grandma told her, yes. Grandma asked if the pastor could pray that God will protect and take care of all her children and grandchildren. Grandma is always there for us, and she always hope that we are well taken care of.
Grandma, I love you, rest in peace.
