Some overdue photos of shumin's 21st bday celebration at Din Tai Feng last week. So admire shumin, she's getting prettier everytime i see her. More feminine, well dressed-up, nice hair-do, beautiful make-up. And Kaiyan lehz, she is all along pretty, but everytime i see her, i feel that she is more successful. She's in sales, of course the effort to chiong must be there. But of course you reap what you sow. I believe her hardwork will pay off in the near future. Whereas for me, I'm not getting any commissions, just my basic monthly salary and some bonuses. Well, honoestly speaking, I don't like my job. Or should I say "we" don't like our jobs. Most people work for the sake of $. Hahas.
Afterall, life is so short. There is no time for us to waste at all. From a new born baby we take our time to learn to crawl, walk, eat and talk. Till we started nursery, we learn about words, how to express ourselves using words and feelings. Then it comes to Tertiary education. Learning about a specific field of studies which u had chosen. Following up is work, dating, marriage, having baby, getting old and retire, sick, and lastly, before you realise how much things you've been thru, you are about to leave this world. I hope that people who have a passion, live it. Sir Dr William Osler (1849-1919) said "We are here to add what we can to life, not to get what we can from life."
