Happy Labor Day! And its a long weekend again. Hurray~!
So fast it is already May, and 2009 is indeed not a very good year for many of us I guess. Due to economic crisis, everyone is afraid of losing their jobs as companies announce to retrench; cut cost etc. Families begin to tighten their budget too. That’s a point of view as an employee.
As an individual, year 2009 so far has been quite depressing. Granny left us in March, and then aunt’s husband in April. When I saw my aunt, I felt sorry for her, but I know I would not be able to feel exactly what kind of feeling is she having. Mom died out of a sudden in the old folk’s home, she did not have the chance to say the last words to her or thank her for being a good & caring mother. Less than a month’s time, her husband fell down from the escalator and went into coma and pass away. Losing the 2 most important people in your life, I think not everyone is able to accept it and overcome. I really hope Aunt can get through this period, and live her life to the fullest. She still has her 3 children and her 2 grand-daughters stay by her side to give her all the support she needs.
